Richmond Bare Subbase to Finished Terrace Garden
Category
Garden Design
Area
Richmond (TW9)
Duration
11 weeks
Completed
2026
Overview
Groundworks stage through to completion: excavation and compacted subbase, drainage and retaining walls, then a finished terrace garden with wide steps. Garden transformation case study in Richmond (TW9), photographed for David Delavega's book Gardens, Terraces & Beyond.
Works were sequenced to keep the property secure and weathertight throughout, with a single site manager coordinating every trade from strip-out to final snagging.
